Support & Prayer

The safest place in the world to be, especially at this time for protection and provision is in the center of God’s Will. ‘How do I get in the center of God’s Will?’ you ask.

It starts with a relationship with God. A real relationship, that is not religion or the culture of attending church. Rather it is a relationship between you and God. Your mind, emotions and spirit in relationship with the Mind and Spirit of God.

As human beings, we live in a physical body, we have a soul / intellect, but we really are spiritual beings. It’s often said ‘we are spiritual being having a physical experience’.

We enter into a real, genuine, loving relationship with God through asking for forgiveness and believing and accepting His son Jesus Christ as our God (rather than the world) and believing that we are ‘saved’ and loved by God, as a child of God.

John 14:6 Genuine Access to God. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 3:16-17 Eternal Life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Romans 10:9 Accepting Christ. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins, forgive our sins, and restore God’s love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, acceptance, peace, provision, wisdom and blessings.

1 John 1:9 Forgiveness. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

As believers and followers of Jesus Christ, we are children of God and citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.

We know that God is sovereign and is in control. We feel secure as we believe that God ‘has our back’ as we feel God’s unlimited love, grace, blessings, provision, purposes and support. God loves and meets the needs of His children even in recessions.

Some Christians believe that God has allowed this COVID-19 pandemic for his purposes, which we clearly don’t fully understand. Perhaps it is to humble ourselves and break our pride and self-sufficiency and to realize that we do need God (the creator and ruler of heaven and earth). And for many to come back into relationship with God the Father, through the Son, Jesus Christ. To return to God in our hearts, minds, values, actions and activities in society.

As Christians, we have strong faith in The Lord / God’s promises found in The Bible and through the indwelling of God’s Spirit.

See below, for just a few of God’s many promises found in The Bible:

God says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 Repent & Forgiveness. If my people who are called by my name, humble themselves, and pray & seek my face & turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven & will forgive their sin & heal their land.

Jeremiah 29:11 God’s Plans. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, Seek, Knock; “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Hebrews 4:16 Receive God’s Grace. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Philippians 4:6-7 The Peace of God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 11:28-30 Rest for your Soul. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

John 8:31-32 Freedom in Christ. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
